Unemployment...

So, i've now been turned down for about 15 jobs for the summer, leaving me somewhat concerned about what exactly i'll be doing with myself for the next few months. I'd planned on getting my private pilot's certificate, but that may not be completed now, given that the only relatively certain job prospect I have is here at MIT working with the Rocket Team, and I can't really afford to pay for housing, food, and flying lessons on a direct-funded UROP salary. I may have enough to get through to a solo, but probably not much further. Summer at the house would be fun, though. My other option at this point is to head home to Lincoln, and try to get a job at the airport, possibly working my way through flying lessons that way (plus, i wouldn't have to pay for food or housing). i suppose we'll see what happens.
